Take control of your mental health

Verenigma provides accurate insight into emotional well-being, reducing symptoms of emotional blindness. Emotional blindness (alexithymia) is typically experienced as part of ADHD/ADD, Austism Spectrum Disorder and Bipolar Disorder.

Verenigma improves resilience through enhanced emotional clarity and regulation.

What is emotional blindness?

Alexithymia is characterised as a blindness to your own emotions. It is experienced as a sense of flatness or numbing. This impacts the way you perceive your stress levels, depression and anxiety symptoms. High levels of alexithymia intensify these symptoms, making them increasingly difficult to regulate.

Individuals experiencing high levels of alexithymia often bottle their emotions, avoid social situations and ignore the problem as a whole. Whereas, individuals experiencing low levels of alexithymia typically rely on social interaction.

When people ignore and withdraw from situations, this continues the cycle of poor emotional regulation.

Verenigma provides a solution. By using the app's emotional appraisal, users deepen their interoceptive awareness, maintaining good emotional health and stronger resilience.

Above: This diagram shows the connection between trauma, stress, alexithymia and emotional regulation and its effect on ADHD/ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Bipolar Disorder. Alexithymia is a condition that has a high prevalence among individuals with ADHD/ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Bipolar Disorder. Avoidance drives alexithymia and results in worse emotional regulation, these two factors make an individual's ADHD/ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Bipolar Disorder more severe.
By improving emotional clarity and maintaining good emotional regulation, an individual's ADHD/ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Bipolar Disorder can be better managed leading to a reduction in severity.

Verenigma Cracks The Code

Self-management cycle

Verenigma uses an individual’s unique voice patterns to provide a visualisation of their resilience. Repeated and daily use of this voice emotion recognition system creates emotional awareness which reduces alexithymia and improved emotional clarity.

Verenigma’s cycle of information feedback enables users to adopt personalised strategies to select and optimise activities which are best adapted for their life.

Monitor symptoms

Verenigma analyses voice recordings to track and visualise mental health symptoms, particularly stress, depression, and anxiety. Like an emotional mirror, Verenigma gives visibility into your emotional states and regulation efforts.

Frequent monitoring reduces levels of alexithymia, often associated with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, alleviating symptom severity and bolstering emotional clarity. Verenigma acts at the conscious and unconscious level, dispelling emotional numbness.

Choose your way

Verenigma helps you to identify activities that work best to reduce your symptoms, by measuring the changes in a standard way – making comparisons easy and effective. This works across all different types of activity: social, personal and physical. Using this data to reflect and adapt improves emotional regulation, reducing the fog of alexithymia and increasing resilience.

Change the cycle

Verenigma alters behaviour patterns, reducing exhaustion and alexithymia by interrupting the avoidance cycle. The avoidance itself suppresses introspection, expression and social interaction. Using Verenigma maintains psychological resilience in the face of adverse circumstances.

Change the cycle and find solutions that work for you with Verenigma.
